Sclerotherapy
Sclerotherapy is an injection treatment used to eliminate "spider" veins and small to medium-size varicose veins. A solution is injected into the problem vein with a very fine needle. The vein wall then becomes irritated. Subsequent application of external compression with dressings and prescription-gradient compression hose seals the vein walls together. The body then breaks down the damaged vein and absorbs it, ultimately eliminating the problem vein. No pre-treatment patient preparation is needed and most patients describe minimal discomfort. After treatment patients resume normal activities, but are asked to avoid prolonged sitting and standing for 3 days and heavy exercise (weight lifting, running and high impact aerobics) for two weeks. Walking is encouraged after the treatments. Prescription-gradient compression hose are worn for 9 days after each treatment.
VeinGogh™
The VeinGogh Ohmic Thermolysis System provides a superior solution for the treatment of fine telangiectasia, spider veins and small angiomas, especially recalcitrant vessels, that have shown resistance to sclerotherapy, laser or IPL treatment. VeinGogh is the fast, easy way to reliably treat these and other cosmetically unacceptable conditions, often with less discomfort compared to older thereapies.
While lasers and other light-based solutions are expensive, skin-type dependent and have an inherent risk of injury, VeinGogh uses a hair-thin insulated probe to thermocoagulate and instantly eliminate vessels dependably, repeatably, on any skin-type and on any part of the body.

Minimally Invasive Treatment
Minimally invasive vein surgery is the treatment of choice for larger varicose veins to achieve both the desired cosmetic results and to relieve symptoms such as aching, swelling and pain caused by leg varicosities. Our vascular surgeons are experienced and skilled with venous anatomy and strive to constantly update their surgical expertise. Today's surgical techniques for varicose veins require minimal incisions and are performed on an outpatient basis with average recovery time of one week or less. Meticulous effort is made to achieve optimal cosmetic and therapeutic results.
Radio Frequency VNUS Closure Treatment
The VNUS Closure procedure is offered for treating larger varicose veins and is indicated for those patients who meet certain medical guidelines. The Closure procedure is performed on an outpatient basis by using radiofrequency (RF) energy applied to the inside vein walls of the damaged vessel. As the RF energy is delivered and the catheter is withdrawn through the damaged vein, the vein wall heats up causing the wall to shrink and the vein to close. Patients who undergo the Closure procedure often resume normal activities quickly with excellent cosmetic and therapeutic results. The procedure is covered by most insurance plans.
